Atul Sinha has around 30 years of experience in semiconductors, computing and the telecom industry. He has worked in high-tech centers in California, Netherlands and India. He has broad managerial experience and has managed companies, businesses and research centers.

Atul co-founded Silicon Hive and served as its Chief Executive Officer from its foundation in 2003 until its acquisition by Intel in 2011. He defined and executed the strategy to build Silicon Hive as a global brand, well respected by the tier-one semiconductor, consumer and mobile players. During his leadership a dynamic culture evolved across its centers of excellence in Tokyo, Seoul, Bangalore, Belgrade, Eindhoven, Helsinki and San Jose. Following the acquisition, he successfully integrated the company and technology inside Intel leading to camera experience shown by Intel at 2013’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

Prior to Silicon Hive, Atul was responsible for business development at Philips Research in Eindhoven, The Netherlands. He started business development after 10 years of active research in multi-player gaming and VoIP at Philips Research Palo Alto, and on hybrid-fibre coax and fibre-to-the-home networks at Philips Research Eindhoven. Atul started his career at Centre for Development of Telematics – a technology licensing company – in Bangalore, India.
